2nd Anniversary Presents

A month ago today, hunny and I celebrated our 2nd year anniversary.Oh yes we are married 2 years already and very very much happy..wink!
And so to celebrate that day, hunny took me out to eat, watched movie and shop (yes shopping!smile) at Westwood Cross, Broadstairs. Although the weather wasn't that great our day was fantastic! We watched the Tom Cruise movie "Rock of Ages"  and guess what? It was exclusive for just the 2 of us..haha nobody watched it that except us so it made our anniversary extra special! wink
And for the exchange gift, I gave my husband this;

Photo taken from Amazon where I purchased the product

He bought a Nokia Lumia 710 mobile a month ago in replacement for his old one that I broke (peace hun). And as I feel awkward of him using my girly phone pouch I though of getting him this 5-in-1 accessory pack of Nokia Lumia. Which includes a leather flip case cover, anti scratch  screen protector, stylus pen, car charger and USB ad apter. He like and it has been very useful :)
And my present is this;

A matching Lacoste bag and shoes! I tell you what, I was so spoilt that day..wink! Thanks hun especially for that very special present you gave but didn't come true, lets asked it again as our Birthday present :). Happy 2 years and 1 month today! I love you so much!

Thanks to my Ovi Map!

Most of the smart phones now a days has map applications or sat nav which for me is very useful. It's really a big help to me and my husband when we go to places we haven't been before. Gives us confidence to journey in places we like to go w/out having the normal map with us which I struggle to follow really considering I'm not familiar with road signs or junctions in here. Just like what happened on our honeymoon, we had a few arguments on the road before we reached our destination.lol.. It happened to us many times, until I got my phone and discover we can use it as sat nav for driving or map for walking in places we're not familiar of. Actually my Ovi map has been so useful on our house viewings. Made it easier for us to locate the house, which street or road it is in. You just have to type the place where you want to go whether driving or walking and then click search. And then a recorded voice will tell you which way to go or turn to reach your destination. Easy pissy! (wink) Thanks to my Ovi map yesterday we managed to find our way back to my mum in law's car! And thanks to it we managed to work out the right route from our soon to be house to my workplace! :) :) ♥♥♥

Digital Camera to Digital SLR Camera (☻☻♪♪♥♥)

Hunny and I have been thinking of getting a new camera since our digital camera isn't working properly already. The battery drains out so quickly and we thought it just needs a new battery, but unfortunately it's really the camera itself which has the problem. It's funny thinking how many times bunny and I argued during our honeymoon cos our old camera wasn't working properly and the pixels isn't good enough for my liking!(hehe..poor bunny). So I guess to avoid argument in our later holidays, we need to upgrade our camera.(shaks!) We are not just gonna get a higher mega-pixel camera but we are gonna upgrade to DSLR camera aren't we hunny? *wink* (ambisyosa!hekhek). I've been searching and comparing prices in a few weeks now, from Amazon to Currys, Ebay and Comets. We are still articulating the prices cos it looks like we need to spend quite a lot of money to get our dream (or my dream rather) DSLR camera! Bunny said to me we might be able to get it this June so hopefully we will find a good price for our (my) dream Digital SLR camera! Anyways I think we need to know more about DSLR camera so we know what to look for so we could get a good buy. ♥♥♥

Download Skype for Mobile

Image representing Skype as depicted in CrunchBase

Living a thousand miles away from your family is quite hard.Often times you feel sad cos you missed them and at the end of the day you feel homesick. But these days there are many ways to get over it, you can ring and talk to them by phone, chat in facebook, yahoo, or better do a video chat in Skype! That's what I always do, video chat to my my siblings, mum, nieces and nephews via skype.In that way I could see them or vice versa and still be updated with their lives even though I'm a million miles away. And last week I found out that I could download Skype in my mobile. Yes, you heard it right, skype in a mobile.It depends what your mobile is though, skype mobile supports 3g phones, Android, iphone,Symbian (check here).I've got a Symbian phone so I was able to download it  and that means I can still go online and chat with my family and friends even though I'm not at home with the computer. Would be useful in emergencies or when we go somewhere like going holiday since we don't have lappy. It would be convenient and less cost for me to be in touch with friends and family! So what are you waiting for, check here how you can download skype for mobile!

Nintendo Wii Console

With this growing high technology world we are living, it's hard to say you have nothing to do to keep yourself busy when you are a stay at home mum or wife. Aside from daily household chores and some personal errand to do, gadgets are always there to to keep you busy and entertained. Or for most of the mummies out there your kids/kid would sometimes be enough to occupy your whole day, and oh blogging of course (wink)! But in my case a stay at home wife without a kid yet, sometimes I struggle to entertain myself. Doesn't happen most of the time but it's a nuisance when I feel bored cos I think too much and at the end of the day I feel frustrated. With so many things I wanted to do that I can't do! Oh well there's more than enough things in this house that could entertain me, blogging, facebook, chatting with family sometimes, watching film with MIL, clean our room, fiddle my phone, or reading. So who would say I am still struggling to entertain myself?hehe.

As a matter of fact, another entertainment has made me busy since Christmas. This wii console with wii fit and wii sports that bunny and I gave to my PIL last Christmas. We thought they deserve a big gift from us since they've been so generous and good to us all this time. WE'll buy our own when we have our own house, anyway I'm loving it and my bunny loves it more! hehe..It has a lot to offer to entertain you, and losing some weight while having some fun. Isn't it great? With the wii fit you can do jogging whilst inside your house,watching tele or listening to some music. There's yoga in it (haven't tried yet), balance game like table tilt, skiing, or the bubble balance which is my favourite. There's aerobic as well which you can do the jogging as I said, hula hoop and steps. A lot of fun games for your little ones as well like the penguin catch and obstacle course and many more. And if you think I'm done, oh no be sporty with the wii sports. Play some tennis, golf, baseball, boxing and bowling indoor, in your won house! You can do some training or wii sports fit and see your speed, skills and balance! I'm getting better at tennis, and bowling, have to practice more in baseball and now I'm loving boxing, knocked out a few!hehe.. So what are you waiting for, be fit, be sporty and have fun in your own house with the Nintendo Wii Console!

Electric Toothbrush

Photobucket

It's Blue Monday again! How's your weekend guys? Mine wasn't that exciting, just stayed home and kept myself busy with my hunny. Anyways my blue entry this week is this Braun electric toothbrush which my bunny got last Christmas. This was given to him by grandpa, but I am using it now since he got one already. I don't really want this electric toothbrush thingy cos I think it's just for lazy people.haha..Like just hold it in your mouth and it'll move itself. But now I know the main purpose of it really is to help protect your teeth and gums from hard brushing (which I do).This has a pressure control installed, if too much pressure applied, the red sensor lights to remind you to reduce the pressure. It has a professional timer, a short stuttering sound at 30-seconds intervals reminds you to brush your teeth equally all four quadrants of your mouth. You can set its brushing mode in Daily clean, Sensitive and Polish/whitening. It is rechargeable which takes really long.  I like using it now cos I can really see and feel that my teeth are shiny and clean. The only nuisance is, the vibration gives me headache!

Sharing this in Blue Monday at Smiling Sally!

Nokia N-8

Photobucket
Last year before Christmas, bunny and I was thinking of getting a mobile for me since i haven't got one. I wasn't too bothered getting one on the first time I came here because I don't have someone to text or call anyway except from my husband which is not really necessarily cos we have a computer. That means I can get online all day and chat to him in facebook or yahoo while he's at work. So left it until December last year cos I found some Asian friends already so would be nice if I have my own phone to keep in touch with them. And I am learning to get on my own like commuting in a bus (which I have just done twice) and having a mobile would be useful in case I get lost and want bunny or mother in law to pick me somewhere..hehe.And also would be useful when I start to work. Anyways we/I had a long thought of it last year, took a leaflet from phone warehouse to see a good deal and nice mobile to get. Thought I could have a dream phone, iphone4 but it's really not sensible to get it for £45.00 a month. That cost a fortune, and it rather be more expensive because you have to get an insurance for as well and the vat for your monthly bill and then there you will see you're paying £60.00 a month. So I decided to get this nokia N-8 for £25.00/ month with unlimited text and 300 mins.call and 500mb internet usage. It might not be as good as iphone4 but it has loads of good features and one best things is the 12megapixel camera which I really liked, it has high definition video, you can edit it and share and connect it in a compatible flat screen tele. It does multitasking, has social network like facebook and tweeter, you can personalise your phone and add your own widgets and of course one useful thing is the free navigation. We used it once and it was brilliant, really helps a lot. My network provider is Orange(since bunny is orange) so I get to register a magic number of the same network that gives you unlimited call to that number. And another thing is the orange Wednesday which is 2 for one cinema ticket and buy1get1free in pizza express! We availed it last year watching the movie Narnia; Voyage of the Dawn Treader with PIL.I really do enjoy my phone just that it's a shame that I can't avail most of my calls and text from my deal.
