My Comfy Pinky Stuff!

Time for another Pink fabulous Friday! Thanks a lot to the 20 thoughtful thoughts from my dearest blogger friends. I promise to get back to you sometime in my 4 days day off...*wink* Here's my Pink entry this week!

My black and white, dotted, pink slipper and night socks that bunny bought for me when I arrived here in England last year. I liked it cos it's comfy and it's pink (wink)! But unfortunately the slipper has worn out already. I still have and use the socks, I like to wear it in a cold night cos it's fluffy and warm!. :) :)

Chocolate Biscuit

Another delicious week again! Because I love chocolate, my yummy entry for this week is this assorted chocolate biscuit I got from Marks and Spencer last Christmas. This makes me happy in a gloomy day!hehe.. lol *wink*

It's my Mama's 57th birthday today..Happy happy birthday Mama! Thank you for everything, for the unchanging love and care, for embracing us even at our worst. May God bless u w/good health.I miss u so bad mama,I long for u everyday and looking forward of being with you again! :(:(  iloveu so much!

Our Little Pink Princess

We're coming to the end of weekdays again and that means Pink Friday is on! *wink*  My pink entry for this week is Phoebe's (SIL's daughter) princess fancy dress which I think was given to her as present last Christmas. She's pretty and adorable isn't she? They're going to visit us this weekend but unfortunately I'll be working by then so I can't play with them :( :( . Anyways, have a great weekend guys!

It's Worth the Wait!

CC time! And here comes the most awaited continuation sa nabitin naming love story..hehe. As I've said, during that time and with all the things that happend in our lives, it didn't really came in my mind that our ways will cross again. Until one day I received a message in my friendster account, la pa akong facebook nun. *wink*. And it's from the unexpected person, Mr. James Burr.I think andun pa sa friendster ko yong mesage niya. He didn't really used friendster much that time (until now..lol), I think nag sign up lang siya dun cos he discovered I have that account so he made one and invited me (is this right hunny?).hehe.. Why did he message me? Kasi na intriga!haha..There was a time kasi I put my status in there as Married (echus lang naman!) and kakalabas lang ng baby ng kuya ko at kamukha ko I uploaded the photo and I put sa caption na "my baby". And siguro hayon nakita niya na intriga, daming tanong! He said when did I get married daw at pano daw ako nabuntis at kelan!haha..Shock naman ang lola mo, and there we started to communicate again. Nagkata-on naman my sister bought a pc as well so ayon nadalas kausap namin. And by then I know it was our 2nd chance to work things out between us. Kaya hayon di ko pinalampas na maudlot uli yong love story namin, kahit deadma si hunny ko sa affection that I showed him at panay torpe, ako na ang gumawa ng first move. As what I've been saying in some of my CC entries before. Things worked out between us obviously, and so now I'm his MRS!. *wink* Sana sulit ang paghihintay nyo! hehe..

Just Beautiful -- Entry #3

It's another Just Beautiful photo for the week, how time flies! And oh, seems like it's the first meme I'll get to join this week so far. I'm just a bit busy with my new job and I spend most of my day offs in bed..hehe. Anyways it's time to do photo hunting for this week's Just Beautiful entry!

I would like to share this photo of bunny and I during our honeymoon in Derbyshire. This was in the garden of Haddon Hall which is one of the English historical state houses! This is just a timer shot but it came out really good. *wink*

This I Pray..

Before I abandon the night and start dreaming of another day, I always make sure to at least thank God for the day that passed. There's a lot in my life to be thankful for, the people I love and loves me. I always pray for them especially my family since we are a thousand miles away. I feel that it's only in prayers that I get peace of mind. I always pray that God will give them good health and keep them safe all through the day. For I can't imagine losing one of them whilst I'm a thousand miles away! I pray that God will bless them and give them happiness and contentment in life. Enlighten their minds when they are in doubt, be a comfort to them in times of troubles and difficulty. And at this point of time I need to pray more, I need to ask for your prayers as well friends. My Mama Ping and Papa Efren are not in good health at the moment. They are couple and both of them need our care, love and support and one important thing is your prayers. Lord please touch them with your healing hands, so that their sufferings will be over. Be a comfort to them dear Lord when they seemed to feel that life isn't fair anymore. Give them strength Lord to fight their illness, and let them feel your presence in the midst of all these. I love them Lord so much and I can't imagine losing one of them. Guide my family Lord in this time of despair, unite us all to stay together, be at help to each other in the midst of this hard times. Bless those people who say bad things about us, and enlighten our minds that we may understand and forgive them. Let my Mama Ping and Papa Efren know that we are all here for them, we wont leave them and we love them so much. And more than anything else YOU are with them and You will never leave them!

My Bridesmaid's Bouquet

 My entry for this week's Pink Friday is my bridesmaid's bouquet on our wedding day.I chose this colour in contrast of their dark red dress. Have great weekend guys!

First Day as a Working Wifey!

Hello there guys, how's your day gone? Well if you are going to ask me the same question, I would say my day went very well! Yes indeed, I had a great first day at work. It was our induction day today so it wasn't too bad. during the morning, we were inducted of our responsibilities as a care assistant, familiarised the building, what to do during fire,what are the door codes, met our work colleagues and signed our contract. In the afternoon that was when I started to get busy. I met the residents and helped the assigned carer that trained me with the usual work for the day like making coffees and teas, delivered them to the resident and collected them again , nursing care, help them out what they need, feed them and made the nurses note at the end of the day. Oh dear, I would say it was really tiring, like lifting up and walking around a long corridor. But well, at the end of the long hours it felt so rewarding. I know I'm gonna love this job, I have a big heart for old people so it wasn't and it wont be hard for me. there would be a lot of challenge to come but I'll be over them bcos the people I'm caring for matters to me! It was so enjoying, though you barely can have your break.lol..I love it cos I get to meet people, and make friends to a whole new environment! Looking forward of more busy and tiring days as a Care Assistant, and actually it'll start this weekend, I will be working Saturday and Sunday for 12 hrs a day. That means I won't be able to chill out  with my bunny on his rest day but it's not gonna be permanent I hope! lol..At the moment we can cope with it, can't we hunny?hehe..Or else we won't be able to buy our own house! *wink* Anyways tomorrow will be my day off and I am looking forward of good sleep and of course long day in the computer!wooop!

Thank you Lord for such a Wonderful day with the Wonderful people! :)

Never in My Wildest Thoughts!

I don't know if I mention it in here before in some of CC entries that bunny and I met online late 2003 when I was I think at the end year of my high school. By then I can say we met in a wrong place and at a wrong time. We were both young and vulnerable that time, so even though we feel something for each other no one seemed to admit it cos of the hopeless distance between us. Both of us thought that there's no point going over in such relationship, na isa lang yong malaking kagaguhan, ma inlab kaba naman sa taong di mu pa nakikita in person eh. And considering bata pa naman kami so we decided to face our own lives and enjoy the crowd ahead of us. So when I started my college life, di ko na siya naisip marami na kasi akong gwapong nakilala (wahaha..Tagalog naman eh, ok lang!) and my new found friends made me busy so hayon nala-os ang beauty ng bunny ko. and unknowingly din there was someone na sumisira sa akin sa hunny ko ( pano nila natunton hunny ko online?mahabang kwento!) kaya tuluyan natalaga kaming nagkahiwalay. He didn't messaged me at all na in YM and then he decided to delete all his contacts in his YM including me. And cos there's a lot of kadramahan na nangyari sa buhay ko, nagkasakit kuya ko sa bato at nakipag sapalaran kami sa Manila nawala na rin siya sa isip ko. Siguro time to time pumapasok din siya sa isip ko, what's going on his life na, if may asawa na ba siya or wala. But never I hoped magkikita pa kami and never in my wildest thoughts na magkakatuluyan kami..Hanggang....

Gagayahin ko rin si Mommy Liz to be continued din, para parang pocketbook diba?haha..

I'll Be a Working Wifey!

They say best things happen to those who wait patiently. Yes indeed! Finally, after a long wait of my employment the nursing home manager rang me earlier and informed me that I'll be starting my training tomorrow! I'll be working as a Care Assistant in a new nursing at Faversham, Kent. It is quite a huge home with 90 beds, and is 20 minutes from where we live. there are a few Filipinos there as well so would be nice. Tomorrow I'll start my adult care training in Highfield care home at Bekesbourne from 10 am -3pm. And the next day I'll have an induction and contract signing at Kingsfield Care home (my official working place) and I'll start my proper shift this weekends, 8am-8pm! Whew, pretty obvious that I'll be very occupied and busy this up coming days. I'm so happy though cos I've been waiting for this for a while. Now I'll be able to help my bunny and we can find our own place pretty soon. I just hope and pray that I'll be able to do my job well and I'll get settled quickly. And I pray that I'll be able to manage my time between work and being a wife. And of course I hope that I will still be able to give time to my blogger friends and still continue blogging! Anyways thanks for the prayers of my family, friends, friends from church and my bunny. At last our prayers have been answered, praise be to God and thank you so much dear Lord! I promise to do my best, love my job and my client and give them the best care!

The City of Canterbury

I live in the County of Kent here in England, 3 miles to the city of Canterbury. I don't know much about the city, but Canterbury tales ring a bell to me as I've learned it from school in English literature. lol.. I'm quite familiar of the city a bit and cos of that I'll give you a lil hint on where to go when you visit the city..

The most popular tourist spot is the Cathedral which is located in the heart of the city. I tell you, it is just easy to locate cos you can see the peak of it as soon as you enter the Canterbury! *wink* If you enjoy walking in a lovely garden, Dane John is your area plus you can have a view of the entire city if you go up high in the burial Mount. And just a few minutes walk you can enjoy shopping in the high street and there you'll see the Kings English crooked book shop! And next thing you can do is to visit the ruins of the Canterbury castle!
