A Lazy Monday

What a horrible Monday it is, gloomy, wet, and cold! Not a very good weather to start work and school I should say. And because of that I had a lazy start of day, woke up late, had breakfast late, and so haven't had a proper lunch since I was still full at lunch time. Actually it was really nice to stay in bed and sleep all day, just that I thought I'll be unfair with my MIL and I think it is really inappropriate (hehe) wouldn't it? Anyways, cos of the distressing weather we had today MIL and I decided to be lazy after all.hehe..We watched the BBC film Wives and Daughters which was written by Elizabeth Gaskell. I quite like the setting while we watched the film, I was sitting in front of the fireplace with a blanket with a cup of tea and biscuit (wink). Haay such a well spent day after all..We'll be watching last episode tomorrow, yet I hope the weather will be better, just like spring is coming soon!

Into the Wild

Yesterday was a bank holiday Monday here in England and bunny's last day from Christmas vacation. And since we haven't done something interesting outdoor over the Christmas break,we decided to venture out into the wild. Howlettes Wild Animal Park was the destination. The weather wasn't great, it was quite cold but at least it didn't rain (thank God). We came in pretty early so we had plenty of time venturing the park.

This is the open top monkey enclosures that is opened to the 13 Javan Langurs (which I will show you the photo). But we weren't able to see them in the enclosure since it's too cold for them this time of year so I guess they just have this every summer.

And these are the Javan Langurs that's supposed to be out int he open top enclosures. But in winter time they stay inside a warmed glass room. They are so sweet creatures aren't they? As sweet as the one posing with them! (wink)

Howlettes allows you to have close encounter with one of the animals (not tiger nor wolf though, i wish!) the Lemurs. You can walk alongside with them in this are which we did but never got that close cos they play a lot!

We brought coffee with us in a small thermos to keep us warm and as you can see my prince charming is holding it while posing as we've just finished having a cuppa.

And there you I've got a close encounter with the green elephant (wahaha..wish!)

Bunny and I trying to get a perfect photo of us together which as we've seen the result we often argue about  cos it's either me being cut or my bunny but mostly it's my bunny's head that's always cut since I'm the one taking it and he's too tall for my reach!hehe..this one isn't bad is it? Happy New Year!

Sharing this in My World Tuesday. Hope you enjoyed it, I'll share more next time =)

The Reculver Ruins

This is the Reculver ruins, MIL and I came to visit here last 2 weeks ago I guess. We walked along the seashore and round the cliffs. It was fairly windy and so cloudy that time, well  you can see it in the photo.

According to the history this was used to be the Reculver church but was ruined during the war.

Every so often my PIL really tries to visit my SIL and her kids or vice versa on weekends or some other days when my SIL's husband's have a day off from work. I like it cos they are very close as well and always makes sure to spend time togehetr despite the busyness. So last May bank holiday we went to my SIL's house for a barbecue.

This is my SIL's garden and you can see her husband doing the barbecue and my MIL sitting with Emilia(SIL's elsdest daughter) and me playing with Phoebe (SIL's youngest daughter).

And here you go my bunny stucked in the grils play house, I don't know how he managed to get in and out!hehe..Must have lift up the house.

My SIL likes gardening, she likes all sorts of flowers same as my PIL they like gardening as well and they have a lovely garden here at their house. And these lovely flowers are called Oriental poopies. They are in orange, peachy colour and pink ones.
