A European Bison, family of bulls as you can see. They are one of the scariest character in the Narnia book which I am reading at the moment. I took this photo last bank holiday this year at Howlettes Animal park in Bekesbourne.

10 Thoughtful thoughts for Roxxy:
Beautiful shot, they look much like our American Buffalo!
Great shot! They are awesome looking beasts.
Really good photos!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Majestic animals!
Nice shot!
I don't think I knew about European bison. Very interesting. (They're not going to multiply if the whole family consists of bulls. LOL)

Magnificent creatures.
I didn't realize there were bison in Europe! I learned something NEW!
I am like some of the other commenters in that I didn't know that there were European bison. They look very similar.
They look so strong, right? Great shot :)
Thanks for dropping by, Roxxy, have a great week...
Neat photo -- they are quite regal looking!
I'm a new follower from the Camera Critter meme :-)
