We Need Building/ Home Insurance

I've got mail this morning , a very interesting mail from our solicitor. Finally we've come to the final stage of purchased, the contract signing..=) I read a few details of the contract and I'm quite happy of everything, just have to wait for my hunny so we could both review the contract, sign it and post back. We still have one more thing to do to finalise our purchased as mandatory when you buy a property here in the UK (I supposed most countries). With so many Insurance companies here in the UK I'm sure we have a lot of options to compare and get the best deal. Home insurance is necessary and as such most mortgage lenders insist that you get building insurance before they approve the mortgage. We can't be sure of everything this days, burglars or even accident like fire which we don't usually expect to happen. This is the most expensive purchased I got in my whole life so it need or I need to be insured..right?
Mind you when we applied for our house mortgage it wasn't just a building insurance we are asked and offered to get, there's Life insurance, content insurance, Critical illness, and many more I can't remember now..toink!hehe.. Anyway apart from that we were also asked to get Mortgage Protection which we both thought a very sensible policy to get. With this insurance if in case we have accident or something happen to us or one of us  (huwag naman sana) that will disable us to continue working, we are still protected as this will continue paying our mortgage maximum 5 years we are out of work. Isn't it brilliant?
Anyhow back to finding house insurance, here are some Insurance companies I browsed MoneySupermarket , GoCompare, Meerkat . Aviva  and many more. Please feel free to click and get some information in here if you are looking for Home Insurance like me. One of the insurance offers a free meerkat toy..guess what?hehe... Hope we could decide soon ourselves and get the best policy that suits us.. To God be the Glory!!

Confession of a Shopaholic

What a week, what a month! After coming from my holiday from the Philippines, I've been fairly busy with work. I supposed I have to do all my shift kasi maraming pending bills from our holiday and our current house purchased. But oh dear, considering Christmas is coming soon, syempre it means mall sales are everywhere! Even though I said to myself that I have to abstain from shopping at the moment, I certainly didn't stick to it! Siguro nga the more you promise certain thing don pa lalo ikaw natutukso..And so guess what, I went shopping twice just this week!(not counting ang online shopping ko rin last week!) (phbbtt) Ohlala...confession of a shopaholic!
Tsaka it wasn't just an ordinary shopping pa what I did, it was an expensive shopping! Grrrr...and the bad part was that I still can't get enough of shopping, though I spent a lot on my shopping sa Outlet, di ko pa rin nabili lahat ng gusto ko non! Haist...Earlier as well my hunny and I had our Christmas shopping, then again marami na naman akong nakitang bags, shoes, and clothes and so of course because my hunny loves me so much I was spoilt again dahil bumili na naman ako ng may kamahalang bag..(Thank you hunny, you're a star!hehe..) Sabi ko sa kanya Christmas gift nya nalang, yong sapatos na binili ko last Wednesday ganon din gift niya rin, next time I have to change my tactics na baka mabuko niya..haha. Pero honestly ramdam ko talaga ever since I am a shopaholic (Aber sino ang hindi?!), I have to lessen this and be frugal na kasi when we move to our own house soon marami ng bills..God please help me to resist shopping, kasi kahit di man ako makalabas may computer pa rin pwede pa rin ang online shopping! toink1toink!

14 Day Europe Cruise

Hello Hello Hello! Nice to be back in blogging world again. Just in case some of you haven't noticed, I've been away for 3 weeks vacation in the Philippines! Yes indeed, after 18 months I was able to go back and visit my country once again. And now I'm back to reality and that means back to blogging world as well.*wink*
Anyways hanging around the house cos it's your day off and the weather is too cold to have a stroll makes you (me) think a lot of things, which most of the time I enjoy nonetheless frustrates me at the end of the day! lol.. Browse and browse what's in your mind till you get tired, that's what I am doing now. And one of the idea that came to me is someday making one of my dream come true, my most wanted holiday.."Europe Trip" whitwew! And just as I was browing, I came across this 14 day Europe Cruise offered by Expat Explore travel agency. visit 5 countries 14 days from £699pp. Tour Itinerary: Departs in London to Paris in the 1st day, then Paris tour in the 2nd day, stay overnight in the 3 star hotel, then depart to Switzerland and have a chance to explore Swiss in the 4th day. 5th day then to Pisca, florence and Tuscany, Italy, day 6 Florence to Rome, day 7 Rome and Vatican, day 8 Pomepei and Brindisi, then to Corfu Greece 10th day, then to Venice for 2 days then home sweet home..UK! Sounds exciting doesn't it? But before I will commit myself to this, I will first of all apply for Schengen Visa. Will share about this in my upcoming post! "Europe Cruise" goal for 2012! :) *wink*
